The program will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, 9603 Woods Dr, Skokie, IL 60077

The official program will start at 6:30 p.m. in Museum Hall and will be open to the public. 

Attached, you will find details of the program that was made possible by the joint effort of four partnering organizations: the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago, the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Jewish Committee.

Panelists: Ambassador Jakob Finci, the first elected President of the Jewish Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina and current Bosnia and Herzegovina's Ambassador to Switzerland.

Amila Buturovic, PhD, Associate Professor of Humanities and Coordinator for Religious Studies at York University, Toronto, Canada. Dr. Buturovic is member of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Acedemy of Arts and Sciences.

Moderator: Aleksandar Hemon, the author of four works of fiction, including the acclaimed novel, The Lazarus Project (2008) and current President of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
