As part of the "AI Across Disciplines" program, held at the 17th BHAAAS Days in Sarajevo, researchers, students, professors, industry professionals and science and technology enthusiasts gathered to discuss contemporary applications of artificial intelligence and its impact on various scientific and professional fields.
The lecture by Vladimir Mijić, an alumni of the Bosnia & Herzegovina Futures Foundation, on the topic "Working with AI Assistants – What do they bring and what do they take away?" attracted special attention. The lecture opened up important questions about the possibilities that AI assistants bring to everyday work, research and education, but also about the challenges, responsibilities and limits of their use.
The event was also attended by prof. Dr. Edhem Čustović, member of BHAAAS and director of Bosnia & Herzegovina Futures Foundation. His presence further emphasized the importance of the cooperation between BHAAAS and BH Futures Foundation, as two organizations that through their activities connect knowledge, experience and people, and continuously support young talents, researchers and professionals from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the lecture, the BHFF Researchers Meetup was held, which provided the participants with an opportunity for informal socializing, networking, exchanging ideas and starting new collaborations. The meeting once again confirmed the importance of connecting young researchers, the academic community, experts from practice and the Bosnian diaspora, with the aim of strengthening the scientific and innovation community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Through such events, BHAAAS and BH Futures Foundation continue to build bridges between knowledge, experience and opportunities, creating space for interdisciplinary cooperation, development of new projects and strengthening of ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and its diaspora.
