From Bosnia and Herzegovina to Germany: The BHAAAS Student Program Opens New Opportunities

The BHAAAS Student Program was created to provide students from Bosnia and Herzegovina with opportunities for further education, the acquisition of new knowledge and skills, and the building of professional networks both at home and abroad. Through mentorship, international internships, professional placements, the rich student program at the BHAAAS Annual Days, and many other activities, the Academy offers students inspiration and support to become professionals ready to change the world.

Inspiring Future Biologists: Student Conference in Tuzla as Prelude to the 16th Days of BHAAAS

As part of the lead-up to the 16th Days of the BHAAAS, a special Biology Student Conference will be held on June 11–12 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Tuzla. This event aims to empower young biologists through presentations, workshops, and expert lectures, highlighting the value of interdisciplinary research and student engagement in science.

BHAAAS: Empowering Young Talents Through Education, Mentorship, and Innovation

The Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) provides young talents with opportunities to develop their skills, build professional networks, and strengthen academic and professional communities through various initiatives, including mentorship programs, hackathons, internships, and academic symposia. For years, the Academy has been focused on connecting young professionals across different fields in Bosnia and Herzegovina, creating a platform for collaboration, innovation, and research. Through these efforts, BHAAAS actively contributes to strengthening the ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and its diaspora.

Practical experience at the Polyclinic for Laboratory Diagnostics: Summer internship for biology students at UKC Tuzla

Biology students in Bosnia and Herzegovina have the opportunity to gain practical laboratory experience working with experienced and trained experts within the summer internship organized by BHAAAS in cooperation with the Department of Pathology of the University Clinical Center Tuzla. Under the guidance of mentor prof. Dr. Ermine Iljazović, a specialist in pathological anatomy, two students from the universities in Sarajevo and Tuzla, Neila Sabitović and Emina Zenkić, had a summer internship.
