As part of the 17th BHAAAS Day, an International Symposium was held that brought together domestic and international experts with the aim of exchanging knowledge, contemporary clinical experiences and strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation in medicine.
The symposium was led by prof. Dr. Enra Mehmedika Suljić from the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), and among the lecturers and participants were Dr. Sci. honey. Nevena Mahmutbegović (KCUS) and Dr. Aida Kantardžić Šehić from Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Associates (Louisville, Kentucky) and Cardiac Surgery Neuromonitoring (Richmond, Virginia, USA).
Through professional lectures and discussions, the latest achievements, challenges and modern approaches in diagnostics and treatment were presented, with a special focus on the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in improving the quality of health care. The symposium once again confirmed the importance of connecting experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora, creating space for new forms of cooperation, exchange of experiences and application of modern medical knowledge in everyday clinical practice.
We would like to thank all the lecturers, participants and partners for their valuable contribution to the successful realization of this expert meeting within the 17th Day of BHAAAS.
