Mahira Tanović, MD, member and former president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), has been appointed president of the New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons (NYSSPS).
This significant and well-deserved appointment is another recognition of her expertise, professional integrity and long-term contribution to the development of plastic and reconstructive surgery. dr. Tanović is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than twenty years of professional experience in New York, an associate professor of clinical surgery at the Hofstra University School of Medicine and the leader of the International Symposium on Regenerative Medicine in Plastic Surgery as part of the BHAAAS Day.
