Registration Fees

  • Standard fee for IAT authors: 150 KM (100 KM for BHAAAS members)  - valid until May 10th, 2025
    After May 10th, the fee will increase to 200 KM (150 for BHAAAS members).
  • Fee for undergraduate and master's students (1st and 2nd cycle): 30 KM
    (Applies regardless of whether the student is an author or not.)

 

Important: Students must bring their student ID (index) to the conference as proof of status.

Additional Information

If a paper has multiple authors, registration is required for those and only for those authors who will be attending the conference.

The registration fee covers access to all conference events and includes lunch for all four days of the conference.

Proceedings of the Technical and Natural Sciences Symposium Published by Springer

Following a successful symposium of the Technical and Natural Sciences section, and a comprehensive program in the technical disciplines during the 15th Days of BHAAAS in Sarajevo (June 2024), we are pleased to inform you that the proceedings from the technical symposia have been published by Springer and available at the following links:

We are delighted to announce that BHAAAS will return to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the 16th Days of BHAAAS, scheduled to take place from June 19th to 22nd, 2025, in Sarajevo. The Days of BHAAAS will again include the International Symposium on Innovative and Interdisciplinary Applications of Advanced Technologies (IAT 2025).

We extend a warm invitation to all professionals, academics, industry leaders, researchers, and students to participate in the International Symposium on Innovative and Interdisciplinary Applications of Advanced Technologies as part of this annual event. The symposium provides an excellent platform for participants to enhance existing professional partnerships, cultivate new connections, establish national and international collaborations, and engage in the exchange of innovative ideas and research. Active participation by students is encouraged.

In 2025, we will organize the IAT as one large, combined symposium composed of multiple topical sessions. Technical topics covered by the IAT 2025 are expected to be comprised of all topics offered in past years as well as several new topics, including but not limited to:

 

1. All areas of engineering, including Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering

2. Data Science and Geographic Information Systems

3. Geodesy and Geoinformatics

4. Computer Science

5. Advanced Environmental Engineering and Project Management

6. Information and Communication Technologies

7. Advanced Electrical Power Systems

8. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and its applications in all disciplines

9. Physics, including condensed matter, materials, and high-energy physics

10. Chemistry, including green chemistry and environmental sustainability

11. Applied and computational mathematics

12. Other emerging and interdisciplinary topics in technical and natural sciences

 

Therefore, we encourage researchers in all areas of natural and technical sciences as well as interdisciplinary areas to send us their best work and join us for IAT 2025.

Number of papers: maximum two papers may be submitted by the same corresponding author. 

Peer review: Submitted FULL papers must be original, unpublished, and not currently under review by any other journals or conferences. Consistent with previous years, all submitted research papers will be double-blind peer-reviewed and those papers that are accepted will be featured in our forthcoming volume of the proceedings, to be published by Springer and indexed in SCOPUS, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, SCImago, Google Scholar, and Springerlink. Accepted papers presented at the conference will be included in the proceedings. Papers that are not accepted for publication in the proceedings can be presented as posters. 

Call for special events: In addition, we welcome your proposals for special sessions, workshops, roundtables, and other events accompanying the Days of BHAAAS. Special events are an essential feature of all Days of BHAAAS and are always open to the public.

May 10, 2025 - Final paper submission/camera ready with all necessary documents, Copyright form, Word file, PDF file, Separate folder for individual pictures, All permissions, and adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) .

May 15, 2025 - Conference program finalized

June 19-22, 2025 - Presentation of papers at the conference

July 31, 2025 - Submission of finalized papers to Springer

 

Call for topical session chairs: we encourage all previous symposium organizers and new participants to reach out and volunteer to chair a topical session. Once we receive all papers, we will organize them into topical clusters and we invite you to volunteer to chair a session related to your topic or expertise. To express your interest, please reach out to [email protected] and describe the topic you wish to chair and list your co-chairs, if any. Chairs are expected to actively contribute to peer review and organization and will be recognized as Chairs in the program and all published conference materials.

Computes Science Student Symposium

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technologies is pleased to announce the Computer Science and Information Technologies Student Symposium, dedicated to showcasing bachelor final projects in ICT. The symposium invites students in their final year of the Bachelor program in ICT who are currently working on their final project or who have already defended their project during the current academic year (24/25) to apply.
