The School of Ultrasound Diagnostics of the Thyroid and Parathyroid Glands was part of the program of the 1st International Symposium on Endocrinology and Diabetology, held during the 17th Day of BHAAAS, led by Assoc. Ph.D. Selma Jusufović, specialist in internal medicine and subspecialist in endocrinology and diabetology.
The workshop was intended for doctors who want to improve their knowledge and practical skills in the field of ultrasound diagnostics, through a concrete, structured and clinically applicable approach.
During the two-day program, participants had the opportunity to work on real examples, adopt a standardized approach to ultrasound examination, improve the interpretation of findings, and further develop clinical decision-making.
The special value of the workshop was in working in small groups, which enabled individual access, interactive education and direct supervision by experienced educators. The workshop was led by Dr. med. Ajdin Smajlović, specialist in radiology, and endocrinologist Dr. med. Anisa Shahbaz and M.Sc. honey. Anida Divanović.
Such educational programs additionally confirm the importance of the 17th Day of BHAAAS as a platform for knowledge exchange, practical education and connecting experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora, with the aim of improving modern medical practice.
