BHAAAS and BoHeMSA support the development of young medical professionals

BHAAAS Medical Student Symposium, a unique platform intended for medical students and young researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina to present scientific papers, exchange knowledge and develop academic skills, was successfully held within the 17th Day of BHAAAS.

The symposium was organized in cooperation with the Association of Medical Students in Bosnia and Herzegovina - BoHeMSA (Bosnian and Herzegovinian Medical Students' Association), which together with BHAAAS provided young researchers with space to present their ideas, research results and professional dialogue with experienced doctors, professors and scientists.

Under the leadership of symposium coordinators Amel Hajdar and Adin Kurbegović, students had the opportunity to present their research in front of an expert audience, receive valuable comments and recommendations, and participate in discussions that encourage critical thinking and scientific excellence.

Various topics from the fields of medicine, public health and biomedical research were covered through presentations and expert discussions, confirming the importance of involving young researchers in contemporary scientific trends. The symposium was given special value by the opportunity to connect students with professors, doctors and researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora, as well as the exchange of experiences that contributes to the professional and academic development of future health workers.

The BHAAAS Medical Student Symposium once again showed that investing in young specialists is an investment in the future of the health system, science and the academic community of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We thank all students, mentors, members of the expert committee, representatives of BoHeMSA, partners and participants for their contribution to the successful implementation of this program, which year after year becomes an important space for the development of a new generation of medical professionals and researchers.
