Applications for membership will be considered twice a year, in January and July. Therefore, the deadlines for applying are December 31st and June 30th. New members who are accepted in January are required to pay the full membership fee for that year, while those accepted in July will have to pay half of the membership fee. Payment of the membership fee is necessary to complete the process of accepting new members to BHAAAS. International and honorary members do not pay membership fees.

BHAAAS is a voluntary non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural organization, whose purposes are exclusively educational, scientific and charitable, as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
