The Canadian Organization for World Health (CSIH) highlighted Dr. Đenana Jalovčić as responsible for the development of healthcare in the country and the world
As they stated, Jalovčić is an associate professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Western Norway. "For the last 25 years, she has worked in 15 countries on inclusive development, leading projects related to people with disabilities, rehabilitation, and projects that promote human rights and the right to treatment for all," they emphasized. "Women and girls with disabilities face discrimination on several grounds when they need health care. We must work together to remove the prejudices, attitudes, and systemic and physical barriers they face in accessing health care around the world. We must encourage women and girls with disabilities, those who provide health services, educators, students of health studies, and communities to build an inclusive health system," Jalovčić's message on the eve of International Women's Day. Jalovčić was presented to the Canadian and world public in the series of the CSIH organization called Canadian Women in Global Health. As stated on the website of the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Jalovčić has 25 years of experience working with institutions dealing with disabilities, communities dealing with rehabilitation, and global inclusive development. He is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Canadian Organization for World Health (CSIH), presented itself as a non-governmental organization that wants to contribute to a healthier world.
