Computer modeling, robotics and biometric engineering, construction, energy, oncology, pathology and pediatrics, development, and early learning and education are the topics that marked the second day of the largest scientific gathering in the Balkans, the 10th BHAAAS Days, held in Jahorina.
Thus, Gordan Srkalović, clinical professor of internal medicine at Michigan State University (MSU), and Nermina Iljazović, head of the Department of Pathology of the University Clinical Center and professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tuzla, held a symposium on oncology and pathology and related fields. "The lectures had an accent on the modern approach to the diagnosis and treatment of malignant diseases to improve the quality of patient treatment, and I think they were very useful for all colleagues present. I must point out that, as a member of BHAAAS, I am very proud of our academy and conference. When we started the project ten years ago, we could all fit in one small hall, and today our conference lasts four days, with dozens of high-quality sessions attended by hundreds of experts from BiH and abroad. That's why every year I look forward to coming to BiH and this event, where I see all my dear friends; let's exchange new knowledge and experiences and have a wonderful time together," said Gordan Srkalović. Dijana Milojević, one of the best experts in rheumatology, pediatrics, and pediatric rheumatology in the USA, agrees, and she led the International Symposium on Pediatrics at the 10th BHAAAS Days. "10. The days of BHAAAS blew me away. The program is respectable. Dozens of sessions take place at the same time, in different halls, with the participation of numerous distinguished international and domestic experts. Such events are very important for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the professional public, and BiH itself, and very useful for my profession," said Milojević. A transdisciplinary symposium in the field of early growth, development, and early learning was held on the second day of the conference, and numerous experts from the fields of psychiatry, psychology, pediatrics, pedagogy, and other related fields were present. The importance of this symposium is also confirmed by the arrival of the head of the UNICEF Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Geeta Narayan, who officially opened the lectures. The Gordan Srkalovic Symposium on technical sciences such as robotics, energy, and construction attracted great attention, and the signing of a memorandum on cooperation with the Bosnia and Herzegovina committee of the International Council for Large Electrical Systems (CIGRÉ) testifies to how important technical sciences and energy are for BHAAAS. In the evening, the presentation of the plan for the Technical Museum and the USAID project "Support for diaspora investment in BiH" was announced. It should be noted that the program on Saturday will be focused on medicine, and from tomorrow's lectures we can highlight * International multidisciplinary symposium on breast cancer. (Sarajevo, BiH/BHAAAS), Kenan Arnautović (Memphis, TN/BHAAAS) * International Symposium on Cardiovascular Surgery.) * International Symposium on Family Medicine SYMPOSIUM LEADERS: Melida Hasanagić (Mostar, BiH/BHAAAS), Eldina Nizamić Vajzović (Bellevue, WA/BHAAAS) * International Symposium on Psychiatry and Psychology SYMPOSIUM LEADER: Esad Boškailo (Phoenix, AZ/BHAAAS), Nirvana Pištoljević (New York, NY/BHAAAS) * International Symposium on Plastic, Reconstruction, and Hand Surgery SYMPOSIUM CHAIR: Mahira Tanović (New York, NY/BHAAAS) Evening program: Exhibition "Memories in Stone" by Amile Buturović (National Museum in Sarajevo).
