Second "Days of BHAAAS in BiH" announced

From October 20 to 22 in Tuzla

As part of its support for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Sciences and Arts (BHAAAS), the Municipality of Tuzla organized a media conference today. At the conference, the members of BHAAAS announced the second annual meeting under the name "Days of BHAAAS in Bosnia and Herzegovina." After Sarajevo, where the "Days of BHAAAS in BiH" were held for the first time, this year Tuzla also has the opportunity to host the Days, which have several very interesting contents in their program. In the absence of the president of BHAAAS, Aleksandar Hemon, who could not come to Tuzla due to illness in the family, Dr. Kenan Arnautović, vice president, and Dr. Eldin Karaiković, former president and member of the Board of Directors. It is an organization that gathers prominent experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina. of origin in the USA and Canada, whose goal is to help Bosnia and Herzegovina with their knowledge. The Academy was founded at the end of 2007 in the United States of America with the desire to connect the BiH diaspora in the USA and Canada on professional and academic grounds and to establish cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina. When the academy was first founded, it had 14 members, and now there are 131. The Academy has the most experts in the field of medicine, who will hold a large number of workshops and lectures as part of this year's Days, and over 40 experts from the USA, neighboring countries, as well as our own are expected countries. Prof. Dr. Ermina Latifagić-Iljazović, Tuzla member of BHAAAS, believes that science, education, and art must not have any political or national sign but should bring people together. As the crowning event, a concert by the Sarajevo Philharmonic was announced, with a guest from the USA, conductor Diane Wittry and guitarist Denis Azapagić, and his wife, flutist Eugenija Moliner, who are also members of the Academy. The second "Days of BHAAAS" will be held in cooperation with the Municipality of Tuzla, the Rectorate of the University of Tuzla, JZU UKC Tuzla, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, and the Academy of Sciences and Arts of BiH.
