The largest scientific conference in the Balkans opened in Teslić

Dušica Babović-Vuksanović, president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), and Semiha Borovac, state minister for human rights and refugees, opened the Ninth "Days of BHAAAS in BiH" today in Teslić. The meeting brought together more than 600 lecturers. Babović-Vuksanović pointed out that it was the largest scientific meeting in the Balkans, which this year also gathered more than 600 lecturers from 17 countries around the world. During this meeting, 20 scientific symposia will be held, divided into the fields of medical and technical sciences. Minister Borovac thanked the scientific diaspora for their selfless contribution to the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Although you are perfectly integrated in the developed host countries, you have not forgotten your homeland—Bosnia and Herzegovina—and you try to help it by sharing what is most valuable—and that is knowledge—emphasized Borovac. She also announced that the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees, which sponsors the meeting in Teslić, will continue to support such activities of the Academy, stressing that its members are an inseparable part of Bosnia and Herzegovina society, that is, the best ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the world. It was concluded that there is noticeable progress in terms of cooperation between the institutions of BiH and its emigration, which is reflected in the recently adopted policy on cooperation with the emigration of BiH, the content of which was presented at the opening of the meeting in Teslić. Also, the policy was further elaborated and the memorandum of cooperation signed by BHAAAS with the Ministry of Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sarajevo. International symposia on innovative and interdisciplinary applications of modern technologies will be held under the auspices of the Association of Advanced Technologies, BHAAAS, the International Council for Large Electrical Systems, CIGRE, and the Society for Robotics of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a result of these symposia, 105 scientific works from the fields of construction, information systems and technology, energy, robotics, mechanical engineering, telecommunications, biomedical engineering and informatics, communication technology, computer engineering, and standardization will be published in a special edition of the Springer publishing house. Through ten medical symposia, the work of more than 300 lecturers, who will be certified by entity medical chambers, will be presented. In the artistic part of the concert, among other things, the Sarajevo Philharmonic and the Accordeus Orchestra from East Sarajevo will perform, the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
