17th BHAAAS Days: Interdisciplinary symposium dedicated to the mental health of children and adolescents was held

As part of the 17th BHAAAS Days, a one-day interdisciplinary symposium dedicated to the mental health of children and adolescents was held.

Through expert lectures and the exchange of experiences, participants had the opportunity to discuss the challenges of recognizing, assessing, and treating pain in children with cerebral palsy, as well as the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in improving their quality of life.

The lectures were led by:

• Prof. Dr. Emira Švraka (BHAAAS, Cerebral Palsy Association of FBiH)

• Amer Smajkić, MD (BHAAAS, Center for Global Health, University of Illinois College of Medicine, USA)

• Sabina Kučukalić, MD, PhD (Department of Psychiatry, Clinical Center University of Sarajevo)
