Bridging the Gap: An Interfaith Concert of Muslim and Jewish Music In Chicago, American Music Festivals outreach to the Bosnian community has included a number of partnerships leading to orchestral concerts featuring Bosnian composers and guest artists. This has nurtured our understanding of the Sevdah tradition, and the development of this exciting cultural program: Bridging the Gap: An Interfaith Concert of Muslim and Jewish Music “Celebrating 500 Years of Friendship in Bosnia and Herzegovina” The concert will be on Sunday, September 2nd, 7PM, at the American Islamic College, 640 W. Irving Park in Chicago. A flyer is attached with detailed information.
