Scientific symposia in the fields of cardiology, neurosurgery, intensive care, and family medicine were held in Brcko today as part of the international scientific event "Days of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Sciences and Arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina." The one-day seminars brought together recognized experts from the country and abroad, and the doctors of the BC health system also contributed to the exchange of knowledge and experience. The role of the host was assigned to cardiologists from Brc, and the theme of the symposium was acute myocardial infarction. Zijad Nišić, a cardiologist at the Brc Hospital and a member of the Academy's organizing committee, assessed that today's international symposium represents a significant opportunity for the exchange of modern knowledge and experience between domestic and foreign experts, noting that the cardiologists at the Brc Health Center manage to follow up and offer patients modern treatment methods. and prevention of acute myocardial infarction. Doctors from Brč today also participated in the work of the international symposium on family medicine, where special attention was paid to the quality of health care in rural areas. The final day of the event was also marked by symposia in neurosurgery and intensive care medicine, which completed the rich symposium program in the fields of medicine and social and technical sciences. In the past few days, the scientific event, organized for the seventh time in a row by recognized Sturgeon natives of Bosnia and Herzegovina who live and work in the USA, Canada, and Western European countries, gathered more than a thousand domestic and foreign participants in Brčko, with the official support of the Brčko District Government and other partners. .
