The Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina Semiha Borovac and representatives of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Sciences and Arts (BHAAAS) will today announce the eighth annual meeting "Days of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Sciences and Arts in BiH" in Sarajevo, which will be held from 26. until May 29 in Neum.
It is the largest international scientific gathering in Bosnia and Herzegovina this year, which will gather around 1,000 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, as well as 260 top lecturers from the fields of medical, technical, and social sciences and arts from Canada, the United States of America, the Netherlands, Malta, Norway, Germany, Sweden, Turkey, Great Britain, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, and BiH. As announced by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Days of BHAAAS provide an opportunity for renowned but also unestablished scientists and members of the academic community to get to know each other and start new initiatives. It is also an opportunity for postgraduate and postdoctoral students to make new contacts and establish a network with colleagues from their own and related professions. This year's BHAAAS Days are being held in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, UNICEF, EDUS, the Association for Biological Psychiatry/Psychopharmacology of the FBiH, the Association of Neurosurgeons of Southeast Europe, the Association of Cardiologists of BiH, and the Association of Orthopedics and Traumatologists in BiH.
