Tenth Days of BHAAAS from June 21 to 24 in Jahorina

This year's 10th Days of BHAAAS (Bosnia-Herzegovina-American Academy of Arts and Sciences) will be held from June 21 to 24 in Jahorina, and more than a thousand participants are expected to attend, including 300 lecturers in 27 medical and technical symposia, natural, social, and humanities.

The president of BHAAAS, Nirvana Pištoljević, said that the main goal of the BHAAAS Day is to unite the diaspora and Bosnia and Herzegovina through science, art, and culture.

- We accomplished that mission. We have built strong bridges between BiH and North America and with countries in the region, the diaspora, and the whole world. The conference in Jahorina, I can now proudly announce, will be the biggest so far, Pištoljević added.

The conference, which, according to BHAAAS, has long been on the calendars of many top experts not only from Bosnia and Herzegovina but also from all over the world, has gained a renowned status as the largest scientific event in the Balkans.

In addition to the fact that the BHAAAS Days profiled itself as the largest scientific gathering in the Balkans, this year's program aims to include the conference in one of the largest cultural events in the region. This is how the exhibition of the doyen of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held. paintings by Safet Zec and the theater play "Book of My Lives" were created as a theatrical adaptation of the autobiographical collection of short stories of the Bosnian-American writer Aleksandar Hemon. There is also a concert by the Sarajevo Philharmonic and Memories on a Stone exhibition.

- Once this manifestation was reserved exclusively for scientific gatherings, but today we can say that, along with all this cultural program, the signing of an agreement on cooperation with Chamber Theater 55, multi-year cooperation with the Sarajevo Philharmonic, the National Museum in Sarajevo, and the international festival of high school theater Juventafest, and by organizing exhibitions, we are opening a new chapter for BHAAAS, Pištoljević said, BHAAAS announced.
