Experts in mechanical engineering and engineering gathered at the 17th BHAAAS Days.

The Mechanical Engineering Symposium brought together experts, researchers and academic professionals from the field of mechanical engineering and modern engineering technologies at the 17th BHAAAS Days.

Organized by the Department of Technical and Natural Sciences (TNS) of BHAAAS, the symposium provided a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of mechanical engineering, advanced technologies, modeling, simulations and industrial innovations. A special focus is placed on strengthening cooperation between the academic community and business, as well as connecting experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora.

The symposium was led by Prof. Dr. Sci. Seid Korić, National Center for Supercomputing Applications and Mechanical Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, BHAAAS, and Prof. Dr. Sci. Muris Torlak, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo.

Through professional lectures and discussions, the importance of innovation, interdisciplinary approach and international cooperation in the development of modern engineering solutions and technologies was emphasized.
