I am in Bosnia at least twice a year, and I have strong personal and professional ties here. All my friends, with whom I grew up in Marindvor, are here, and we hang out, as do our children. It is very important to me that, not only me but also my children, maintain that contact and continuity. My identity is both in America and here, and I found a way for those two parts to coexist and complement each other.
