A Neurosurgeon comes to Sarajevo every year and performs surgery on most difficult cases One can say that Dr. Kenan Arnautovic, a neurosurgeon who has been working in the prestigious Semmes-Murphey hospital in Memphis, is definitely successful. Being a graduate of the American Board of Neurosurgery for some time, he is held in high esteem among his colleagues in the United States In spite of his great success in the U.S., Arnautovic has shown that he remained a Sarajevan and a Bosnian who has not forgotten his home city and his homeland. Every year he brings his colleagues from the U.S. to Sarajevo, and together with them performs surgeries on the most difficult cases. In addition to this, he donates equipment and, thanks to his good reputation in the U.S., he is able to make arrangements to provide funding for the training of our doctors in the clinics in the U.S. Prof. Arnautovic was born in 1960. He graduated from the University of Sarajevo’s Medical School as the best in his class. He completed first resident neurosurgical training in Sarajevo, and the second residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is married and has two daughters. ATTACHMENTS:
