On Monday, February 16, 2009, on the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo, prof. Ph.D. Faruk Čaklovica, the rector, received professors from the Semmes-Murphey Clinic for Neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, prof. Ph.D. Kenan Arnautović and prof. Ph.D. by Frederick Boop.
Rector Čaklovica introduced the distinguished guests to the organization and history of the University of Sarajevo, and discussions were held on the topic of possible cooperation between these two universities.
On this occasion, Professor Arnautović informed Rector Čaklovica about the visit of representatives of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Sciences and Arts to the University of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is planned for the second week of October 2009, and on that occasion, lectures and a round table on teaching and research will be organized. work and future projects at these institutions.
