Imagine an interactive installation set up like an examination room, darkened just enough to see objects resembling ophthalmic diagnostic aids. A doctor in a white coat or surgical uniform, together with an assistant, guides you through the examination. You sit on the chair and the journey to a new dimension begins. By simulating actual ophthalmic tests, the ophthalmologist guides you through an examination of visual acuity, contrast sensitivity and binocular vision, ending with a diagnosis of your subconscious ideological commitment. The performance, created by Nina Jovanović, MD and artist Majda Turkić, a member of BHAAAS, questions optical illusions and re-interprets diagnostic tests as a reflection on the Entartete Kunst exhibition in Munich. This unique experience invites you to reconsider your political and liberal views.
