Dr. Nirvana Pištoljević completed her studies in psychology at Rutgers University (USA). She attended graduate studies at Columbia University in New York, where she obtained three master's degrees in the fields of special education, general education and applied behavioral analysis, teaching practice in special education, and behaviorism in psychology. In 2008, at Columbia University, she received her doctorate in applied behavioral analysis, after which she has been teaching at the same university for six years in postgraduate studies, in special education and inclusion. He also teaches postgraduate studies in psychology and applied behavioral analysis at the University of Parma in Italy. Working for seven years at the Fred Keller School in New York, which is also a scientific research center at Columbia University, with children with and without disabilities aged 18 months to 5 years, according to the CABAS® system, she was a mentor to postgraduate students. She engaged in scientific research work, which earned her the scientific and research titles: of senior behavior analyst and assistant research scientist, and then adjunct assistant professor at Teachers College, and graduate studies at Columbia University. She has published numerous scientific research papers with a focus on speech induction and developmental stages in children with developmental disabilities. He is an invited lecturer at numerous conferences around the world related to development and behavioral psychology, pedagogy, speech development, observational learning, and scientific methods in working with children. Since 2010, she has been the Executive Director of the Association EDUS—Education for All—for children with and without developmental disabilities. It implements science-based programs of early intervention, kindergarten, preschool, school, and additional classes in the EDUS center and at the "Mjedenica" school. In the function of vice president of the Bosnia and Herzegovina—American Academy of Arts and Sciences—organizes scientific conferences and knowledge exchanges of experts from America and the region every year.
