Children in BiH deserve better. There are few people who, with their life achievements, work, and successes, make you reconsider your own life and ask if you are doing anything good for future generations. Nirvana Pištoljević, born in Sarajevo, with an address both in Sarajevo and in New York, is a lady who should not have such dilemmas. She dedicated most of her unique career to children, and today she is one of the world's most famous experts dealing with children's development. She is a doctor, a professor at Columbia University in New York and the University of Parma, executive director of the non-governmental organization EDUS, and president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Arts and Sciences, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last month in Jahorina.
