The mission of the Center for the Coordination of Medical Research (CKMI) of the Department of Medical Sciences of the ANUBiH is to assist domestic researchers in the preparation of research projects in cooperation with scientists and scientific institutions of biomedical orientation from the country and abroad. At the request of researchers or their institutions, CKMI assists in writing, reviewing, and implementing scientific research projects and publishing the obtained results. In addition, the activity of the CKMI is the publication of the international medical journal Acta Medica Academica (www.ama.ba) whose vision is its indexing in index databases: Scopus, EMBASE, ScienceCitationIndexExpanded (WebofScience), CurrentContents/SSocial & BehavioralSciences, and CurrentContents/CClinicalMedicine. The journal's mission is to publish original, rigorously peer-reviewed articles in the field of biomedicine and present them to the scientific public around the world via the journal's website. CKMI assists young researchers in the preparation of their first articles for publication when they want to publish the results of their research in the journal Acta Medica Academica in the case when they appear as independent authors or in co-authorship with researchers who also publish their articles for the first time.
