Open lecture by Želimir Husnić "Mechanical and Hydraulics Systems Optimization for Industrial Efficiency"

As part of the USAID "Diaspora Invest" project, we continue to carry out mentoring support activities for companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our goal is to connect experts from the diaspora with domestic companies, provide free trainings and offer expertise in order to improve products and services.

As a part of this program, BHAAAS member Želimir Husnić is coming to Bosnia and Herzegovina this November. Želimir Husnić, Ph.D. is an engineer with over 30 years of expertise in mechanical and hydraulic systems, control systems, and project management, with a strong background in both aerospace and industrial applications. He has held leadership roles at Boeing Defense and Space and SOKO Aircraft Industry in Mostar, where he led testing, diagnostics, and system optimization for various mechanical systems and components. His academic background, combined with his hands-on experience, makes him a recognized expert in mechatronics, system diagnostics, and project management.

Dr. Husnić has developed a deep understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems, failure analysis, system optimization, and quality assurance. He is proficient in the areas of actuation, mechanical systems, and high-pressure hydraulic systems. Also, he is experienced in development, design, qualification, troubleshooting, models analysis, system integration, validation testing of complex engineering systems and has contributed to both research and practical implementations in the field of mechatronics and mechanical engineering.

All interested companies can send one representative to the open session in Mostar, on November 11, 2024.

Three companies that express an interest in the mentoring connection will have the opportunity for 1-on-1 sessions with Želimir, which can be online or live, and the development of an action plan to solve specific challenges. These companies will sign an agreement with BHAAAS for mentoring support. This activity does not produce any obligations for the company except for the submission of the registration decision and the signing of the agreement, and of course, participation in the sessions.
