In Sarajevo, as part of continuous cooperation with colleagues from the USA, another operation for a complex brain tumor was performed

In Sarajevo, on November 17, 2014., as part of the multi-year continuous cooperation with colleagues from the United States, another complex operation was performed on a patient with a brain tumor. Namely, a 59-year-old patient from Kreševo was operated on for the first time 15 years ago in Zagreb. Due to the return of the tumor and the consequent symptoms of the disease, at the end of the summer of this year, in agreement with colleagues from the USA, the patient was scheduled for a new operation, which this time was performed in Sarajevo. The operative team consisted of Prof. Dr. Kenan Arnautović, a distinguished neurosurgeon from Memphis, Tennessee (pictured right), M. Dr. Ibrahim Omerhodžić (left), and Dr. Almir Džurlić from KCU Sarajevo. The operation went smoothly, and the patient was feeling well. By the way, the Clinic for Neurosurgery from Sarajevo has a long-standing friendly, and strong cooperation with the Clinic in Memphis, and this is just one more in a series of joint appearances by doctors from these two renowned institutions.
