The Association of Norwegian-Bosnian Doctors and Psychologists was founded

We are proud of our compatriots, friends, and colleagues from Norway who founded the Association of Norwegian-Bosnian Doctors and Psychologists. The association aims to promote humanity and improve relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina, doctors and psychologists, and scientific institutions in the Kingdom of Norway. We with this invite all BiH doctors and psychologists who live and work in Scandinavia to join them and contribute to the better work of the association with their knowledge and experience. We wish them the best of luck in their future work and look forward to joint projects.Udruzenje norvesko-bosanskohercegovackih ljekara i psihologa- After more than 25 years of work and establishment in the Kingdom of Norway, favorable conditions have been created for the gathering of all doctors and psychologists from Bosnia and Herzegovina into a single association, which is a non-governmental organization. The association aims to promote humanity and improve relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina, doctors and psychologists on the one hand, and scientific institutions in the Kingdom of Norway on the other. Also, the goal is to improve health services in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to bring our professional staff in the Kingdom of Norway closer together with colleagues in the homeland to establish and improve collegial, professional, and social interests. BiH Ambassador to Norway Nedim Makarević emphasizes that this association is extremely important because it shows exactly what our people are most recognizable for in Norway: higher education. Namely, BH. citizens are, according to several times repeated and established opinions of the hosts, the best-integrated group of foreigners in Norway. The newly elected president of the association is Dr. Dragan Žerajić, who is a specialist in pediatrics and general medicine and, among other things, the chairman of the Medical Chamber of Troendelaag and the Committee for Human Rights at the Norwegian Medical Chamber and a member of the Board of Specialists in General Medicine of Norway. He points out that the establishment of that association was welcomed by the leading actors of the Medical Chamber of Norway—President Marit Hermansen, Secretary General of the Norwegian Medical Chamber Geir Reise, and the Association of Specialists (OVERLEGEFORENING), and that it is a historic moment for all doctors of BiH origin who live and work in Norway, writes Fena.
