The award was received in Warsaw by the director of the film Pjer Žalica. "It is an honor to receive an award at the Film Festival because it was given to you by your colleagues," said Žalica in a statement for the Fena Agency. He also stated that the competition was extremely strong. This was also the first international screening of the film "Labor Day." Žalica recalled how they missed some film festivals because they decided on the International Film Festival in Warsaw, which turned out to be a good decision. After the international premiere in Warsaw, screenings of "Labor Day" will follow at the jubilee 20th Zagreb Film Festival in Croatia and at the 14th Eastern Neighbors Film Festival (ENFF) in Amsterdam and The Hague.
