We wish to congratulate our member Prof. Ismar Volić who was awarded a 2017-18 Fulbright U.S. Scholar grant. The award will support Prof. Volić during the spring 2018 semester which he intends to spend at the University of Sarajevo. While there, he will be doing research and working with his doctoral student at the Department of Mathematics. He will also be engaged in a variety of activities promoting and advocating the importance of STEM education and its funding. Prof. Volić is delighted to have this opportunity and looks forward to a productive semester in Sarajevo.
