The Plastic Surgery Symposium at the 13th BHAAAS Days received the highest rating from the world's medical professional public

The International Symposium of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which was recently held in Sarajevo at the 13th Days of BHAAAS BiH, attracted a lot of attention from the world's medical professional public. At the symposium, which brought together top experts from seven countries around the world, the latest achievements in microsurgery, regenerative surgery, the latest methods of body shaping, and safety measures related to surgical procedures were presented.

Symposium host Dr. Mahira Tanović, a plastic surgeon in New York and owner of a private medical practice for plastic and reconstructive surgery in New York and last year's president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), did not hide her satisfaction with the lectures and thanked all participants of the symposium. "This was a very useful symposium primarily for heads of plastic surgery clinics as well as students who could learn new knowledge from top world surgeons. What is very important is that we made plans for future cooperation and education of local plastic surgery specialists," said Dr. Tanović.  The organization of the symposium was highly rated by Dr. Milomir Ninković, Head of the Clinic for Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and Hand Surgery at the Burn Center, Bogenhausen Hospital, Munich (Germany), and President of the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS): "Sincere congratulations on the organization of the symposium. I was surprised by the number of extremely high-quality lecturers and the level of teaching. I participate in the world's most famous congresses, but what was organized by BHAAAS and others? Mahira Tanović surpasses the level of the biggest conferences. Thematically, everything was complex so that both the youngest assistants and the oldest professors had the opportunity to learn something new for their future clinical and scientific work. Above all, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of my colleagues from BiH who guided me through a fascinating two-day tour of beautiful Bosnia.
