The event attracted a lot of attention from the Danish media. On the eve of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Statehood Day, on November 24, a ceremony is planned in Denmark where Bosnians and Herzegovinians will show how much they appreciate the help they received when they needed it the most. Namely, during the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the arrival of the first Bosnian refugees in Denmark, the idea was born that our people would present a Bosnian stećak to the Danish people. The proposal was sent to the Municipality of Odense, and their politicians responded positively. Money was collected, a stone was bought in Hreša, and the artist Adis Fejzić was hired.
