Svjetlana Bukvich and Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company 22. february 2015, National Theatre Sarajevo at 19:30 A concert of new music, movement, and video art The concert Svjetlana Bukvich and Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company is a symbiosis of contemporary music, dance and video art. Carolyn Dorfman Dance is one of the most prominent contemporary dance companies in USA. The concert will be realized during the 31 International Festival Sarajevo “Sarajevo Winter” 2015 INFINITY, and features compositions from Svjetlana Bukvich’s acclaimed new CD – Evolution, as well as works from the Carolyn Dorfman Dance repertoire. The highlight of the evening is the techno savvy Interior Designs – a multimedia tour de force for which Svjetlana Bukvich created the music. Within the festival Svjetlana Bukvich and Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company will conduct workshops with a wide range of artists from Sarajevo. The soloist on violin and electric violin is Melika Hadžić, hailing from Amsterdam. Svjetlana Bukvich will perform on keyboards and create electronic music live.
