The world premiere of the piece Unraveling the Linear for Wind Quintet and electronic sound by composer Svjetlana Bukvich will take place in New York on February 19, 2023, as part of the Plugged-In concert. Prominent New York quintet Sylvan Winds is the organizer of this concert, which will present works of contemporary music for wind instruments and electronic sound. For this occasion, the composer will play electronics live. For the composition of this work, Svjetlana Bukvich received a subsidy from the Individual Artist Program, which is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. Composers whose works will also be featured include Allison Loggins-Hull, Kinan Azmeh, Robert Martin, Mario Davidovsky, and Henry Cowell.
