The IV International Radiology Symposium

The IV International Radiology Symposium gathered prominent experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world at the 17th Days of BHAAAS with the aim of exchanging the latest knowledge and experience in the field of radiology, diagnostic imaging and clinical application of modern technologies.

The symposium was led by Emma Pinjic, MD, MPH, Associate Director of Radiology Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, asst. Dr. Fuad Zukić, MD, PhD, head of the Radiology Department of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, and Dr. Ferida Huković-Čengić, MD, PhD, radiology consultant at Östra Sjukhuset – Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg.

Through professional lectures and discussions, innovations in oncological, neurodegenerative, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular radiology were discussed, with a special focus on modern diagnostic methods and the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in the treatment of patients.
