His rich knowledge and experience Prof. Ph.D. Enes Kanlić shared with the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology, UKC Tuzla. When the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina invited experts from the diaspora to apply for the transfer of knowledge to institutions, public institutions, and the academic sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the project "Diaspora for Development," a project of the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Switzerland, in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Prof. Ph.D. Enes Kanlić, member of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), and about which we have already written. Prof. Ph.D. Enes Kanlić achieved a successful career as an orthopedist and traumatologist in the USA. He is the head of the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology, Level I Center in Arizona in Chandler, USA. He is a member of the world's largest orthopedic associations and the author of numerous professional and scientific articles in the field of orthopedics and traumatology. His rich knowledge and experience Prof. Ph.D. Enes Kanlić shared with the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology UKC Tuzla, as a reception institution, where he held professional lectures for doctors and specialists of the clinic every day. Every day during his stay, together with his colleagues, he had a "Grand Round," where topics were presented, problems that his colleagues at UKC Tuzla face every day, as well as solutions and approaches that can be applied to patients who underwent surgery during their stay at Ph.D. Kanlic. During his stay at UCC Tuzla, Prof. Ph.D. Kanlić, with the operating team of the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology, performed three operations that had not been performed before at this clinic. Also, with the operating team, he operated to solve a bone fracture using the osteosynthesis procedure. It is an operative procedure, new in Bosnia and Herzegovina, by which osteosynthesis of the front part of the pelvis with plates and screws was performed in a patient who had a fractured pubic and sacral bone, and fixation of the back part of the pelvis with screws was performed using a minimally invasive technique through small incisions and under X-ray control. That he used his stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina to the maximum to transfer knowledge is also shown by the fact that he spent his evenings out with Dr. Kanlić, dedicated to the medical residents who, thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, had the opportunity to talk and get additional answers to their questions. Medical students of the Faculty of Medicine also had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Kanlić how education and specialization are organized in North America. He often comes to Bosnia and Herzegovina; he says that Bosnia and Herzegovina "educated" him, and accordingly he feels the need to give something back to his homeland. He is in BiH for his soul, and there he is for life and work. He points out that the economy and system in the USA are such that they allow quality personnel to express themselves, which is irreplaceable. (https://mojabih.oslobodjenje.ba)
