At the Clinic for Neurosurgery of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, in the last three days, spine operations were successfully performed on five patients who had been experiencing weakness in their arms and legs, poor mobility, and a significant decrease in strength for months. Those patients were operated on according to the highest American standards and with the most modern method of installing implants, and the patients were given the maximum possibility of recovery, announced the press service of KCUS. Together with the doctors of the KCUS Neurosurgery Clinic, the operations were performed by specialist neurosurgeon Dr. Kenan Arnautović, employed at Semmes-Murphey Clinic (USA), with the support of Ryan Lynn from the Medtronic Company, which donated implants worth $75,000. "The American and KCUS teams will continue to conduct operations," it said.
