SARAJEVO, JUNE 3 (ONASA) Ten members of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Science and Arts will spend a three-day visit to Sarajevo in October of this year, where a series of lectures will be held by the president of this academy, Eldin Karaiković, who is currently staying in Sarajevo with the aim of finalizing the preparations for this event.
"The meeting will be held from October 28 to 30, under the auspices of BiH Presidency member Haris Silajdžić, and in cooperation with the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo, the Academy of Sciences and Arts (ANUBiH), and the Sarajevo Philharmonic. Ten American citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will come to Sarajevo. of origin who will hold lectures at the faculties, at the Rector's Office, and at ANUBiH, and at the end of the visit, a concert is planned," said Karaiković. The purpose and goal of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Science and Art is the expansion and development of science and art in Bosnia and Herzegovina and diasporas in America and Canada. The Academy has about seventy members and aims to connect Bosnia and Herzegovina with scientists, artists, and individuals prominent in their professional fields, as well as to build bridges of cooperation with the homeland. The Academy will promote the spirit of intellectual diversity and free exchange of ideas among the diaspora in the belief that knowledge is wealth that can and should be shared.
